Oh wow! What office are you located, how long after the biometrics did it get scheduled?

After all those years we just can't wait to be done!

My office is Omaha. I applied in September. I had my biometrics done in December and I got the interview notice in Feruary.

I feel the same way! What's funny is that the estimated time was originally June 2021 and for some reason after they scheduled my interview it still changed to August 🤷‍♀️

They probably change them in bulk no matter at what stage you are.

That's pretty quick, I hope the Newark office is similar. I received by biometrics reuse notice in February.

When you look at the processing times for Newark I do get worried. But good to know those estimates are not definitive date.

I hope @DreamCatcher77 doesn't mind but I sorted the spreadsheet by filing date to make it a little easier to read.  Those without a filing date are then sorted alphabetically.

If you have new information please update so we can see our our Sept 2020 applications are doing - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IsFBL5rIL-9JoT8BTK7wET1a6vQIDKEvDKRvVWg-29E/edit#gid=1544700262

Our biggest concern is my wife’s Green Card expires Sept 2021, just a few months from now. Should we renew her green card while waiting?

When is your estimated completion date?  I would use that as a gauge.

I sent a message asking about my wife's biometric, got the following response:

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local Application Support Center (ASC). Biometrics appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the ASC. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local ASC. You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment.

Once you have been scheduled, you may view and print a copy of your USCIS ASC Appointment Notice within your USCIS online filing system account. After you log in to your USCIS online filing system account, access the Home Tab to find the "Documents" field to view or print your official appointment notice from USCIS.

My question is, are they still doing in person biometrics?

We are in Southern California.

They are but it looks like they are doing biometric re-use more than getting people to do it again.

Hello all, we (rather she) did our interview last Thursday at noon in Alabama. We got there pretty early as Atlanta is on Eastern time and Alabama is Central, but we also knew that going in as a friend of ours also residing in Atlanta fisher interview in Alabama as well a week prior and advised us beforehand. They put her in one room with an iPad to answer the questions and the interviewer was in another room communicating via a monitor.
Interview was straightforward; bunch of yes/no questions pertaining to the application. She was asked to read who was the president in world war 2 and then write that Roosevelt was the president in World war 2. She got the first 6 questions correct and was approved for citizenship.
Our aforementioned friend was given the opportunity to come back the next day or the following week for the oath ceremony but we are still waiting for the letter to arrive with our date. The website has been updated to show that the letter was sent.

Happy this is over and wishing everyone the best also.
