I filed on 9/15/2020 and got my biometrics re-use letter a couple of months later. Just received my interview date for 3/24/2021 at Fort Myers FL office. Case completion on USCIS website is showing as October 2021. Does anyone know how long it takes for the oath ceremony to be scheduled after the interview is done?

It depends, some are doing the ceremony right after the interview,  the same day. Ours took 2 month to be scheduled and it is in one month. Some states make  ceremonies every month others twice a year! Our state (WV)  does it twice a year but for some reason  the ceremony is going to be in another  state, PA. We are happy because it is just in one month. Good luck.

If you did Online, it will be processed in a field office near your current location. Not sure where to find but try uscis field office search. You can check VJ n400 processing timeline and filter by nearest city to you. The processing time varies widely between cities and checking there may give some idea for your city.

It's actually at NBC office until it's ready to be transferred to your local field office if you filed online. 🙂

No updates since biometric reuse notice but got this today - the estimated completion case time was moved to July 2021 from May 2021.

Honestly, I find the estimated completion very unreliable and would not advise to stress over it too much. While it, of course, differs for everyone, my case completion was on September 2021 the entire time from beginning to end. I became a citizen on 01/29, same day oath ceremony. So please take that date with a huge grain of salt.

Hey, I'm going for my interview at fort myers too, March 16th.

I was confused because when I tried to search info on fort myers not a lot came up. Also on Google maps is looks like some strip mall/truck depot lol. Doesn't seem like many go there.

I assumed I'd do my interview at Tampa cause I did my ROC biometrics there...

Received my Biometrics reuse today . Filed 29-Sep .

Question : Anyone know how long after the biometrics , interviews get scheduled ? I have an international travel coming up in next 2 weeks and I will be back in April . Wondering if I should reschedule the travel to a later date

Suggestions / inputs will be much appreciated

I was in a similar situation. I eventually decided to postpone until after and glad I did. Interview ended up being scheduled for March (when I was supposed to be leaving).

LOL-- I had the same thing with Nashville. It was still being built in 2017-2018, and Google Maps showed... nothing. Just a sketchy area. 😂

Hearty Congratulations.

I had my interview done on January 06th. The interviewing officer gave me the N 652 letter saying that she is recommending my application for approval. My understanding is that a final approval is still needed in my case. Hopefully it comes soon.

Mine also got updated to July, everytime I tend to get close it gets moved further away haha.

Don't get discouraged by that timeline! It is not accurate. I have my interview in 10 days and my estimated case completion time says August 2021
