I applied September 8th and finally got my Biometrics reuse letter today! Did not get any notifications but I found it in the Documents tab in my online account. I applied in NYC and moved to Los Angeles at the end of the year and changed my address on January 1st 2021, I got a change of address confirmation from USCIS January 19th and I even called to make sure they had the new address. As expected, my biometrics reuse letter has my old NYC address! I’ll have to call them and try to get this corrected, just hoping the address change won’t delay my application too much. Anybody else dealing with address change?

Received my Biometrics reuse today . Filed 29-Sep .

Question : Anyone know how long after the biometrics , interviews get scheduled ? I have an international travel coming up in next 2 weeks and I will be back in April . Wondering if I should reschedule the travel to a later date

Suggestions / inputs will be much appreciated

Was in similar situation but ended up postponing our trip due to travel ban for my wife's tourist visa. Turned out my interview date is March 31st.

Here's my understanding-

Timeline varies by field office so you can try VJ n400 processing timeline for your city. You may get an idea.

1. Typically I have noticed uscis inform interview date at least 30 days in advance

2. You need to get a Covid test 3 days before your return trip

3. You have to account 14 day quarantine period after return

4. Few threads complain how uscis may mess up interview reschedule request resulting in denied application or at minimum your case may be delayed.

So would definitely avoid rescheduling the interview. May be research flexible ticket option.

Good luck.

After my biometrics reuse letter, it took about 2.5 months for my interview to be scheduled. I got the interview notice over 40 days in advance.

But it depends on your field office - it might be quicker or it'll take more than 2 months for your interview to be scheduled (most likely scenario). I personally think that you would be fine with your upcoming trip, but of course, I understand your concerns. Did you file your application online and have access to the online tracker? They upload the documents there before sending them to you, and you can actually view a copy of the document online. Worst case - you go on your trip, they schedule your interview (you'd be able to see the date online), and you can stay because your interview falls on a date after you return OR you return earlier if the interview is before your return date.

EAD/AP: 02/14/17 - 05/26/17 (101 days)

AOS: 02/14/17 - 06/20/17 (126 days)

9/13/2020- Application filed online

9/21/2020 - NOA1 received

12/10/2020 - NOA2 biometrics reuse

2/2/2021 - NOA3 N-400 interview scheduled for 3/16/2021

3/8/2021 - NOA4 N-400 interview cancelled

3/15/2021 - NOA5 N-400 interview re-scheduled

4/27/2021 - Interview (approved)

4/28/2021 NOA6 Oath ceremony scheduled

5/20/2021 - Oath ceremony

I filed on 9/15/2020 and got my biometrics re-use letter a couple of months later. Just received my interview date for 3/24/2021 at Fort Myers FL office. Case completion on USCIS website is showing as October 2021. Does anyone know how long it takes for the oath ceremony to be scheduled after the interview is done?

Good morning!

I checked the docs tab and saw biometric reuse letter dated Feb 19th.

We filed on Sept 14th 2020.

The only thing is that my wife and I filed on the same day and got receipt notice also on the same day, but she hasn't received the reuse letter yet! Is this normal?

No updates since biometric reuse notice but got this today - the estimated completion case time was moved to July 2021 from May 2021.
