I got an email stating “We have taken an action on your case and it needs your attention”. I signed in and I didn’t see anything. Is that normal?

I checked again. The status did not update yet but they uploaded the biometric document. They are reusing my biometrics! Last time I did mine was on 2014 when I renewed my greencard.

Ha ok not heard of that one!

The same person who took you to the room then went to a different room and talked via iPad?

Exactly! So, my type of visa was K1. Applied to remove the conditions, got extended for another 18 months! Then I applied for the N400. The interviewer did the removal of conditions interview first with my husband. She basically interviewed my husband (Citizen), then when done, she escorted him outside. After that, we proceeded for the next interview, which is the N400 interview.

I say, it’s weird times. One lady before me, she had her interview on a cubicle, but with plexiglass between them.

After reading your message, I checked my account and have it too! I didn't get the notice yet (or message that there is an update to my case) but it is showing on my account. I filed Sep 15th. Sacramento field office.

Hello Everyone! Just passed the interview today! It was so quick and easy. Took about 30 minutes more or less, since the appointment time until the interview was over. The interview was virtual. My local office is Jacksonville, FL. Oath taking will be a month from now, which is before my birthday! Best birthday gift ever!

Anyway, good luck to everyone who's still waiting for their interviews. I hope It'll come soon.

Congratulations! I'm sure you are sooooo relieved. Did you take the 2008 test or 2020?

Yes! You are right. I am relieved 😌. But don’t worry the interview was not that hard.

I took the 2008 test since I applied before December 1.

I filed sept 12 but still no bio reuse. Looks like USCIS just randomly picks cases for processing.

I think it depends on your location and field office backlog instead. I filled 29 Sept in NJ and no movement so far other than NOA.

I am NJ too. But I saw a post that about 400,000 cases for N-400 got bio reuse very recently. And someone who filed at NJ in November got a bio reuse.

That is interesting to know. Do they come under Newark or Mount Laurel field office?

The 400K cases are nationwide. The person that I saw got a bio reuse was Newark.
