Hello folks, really late to the game here but filed our N400 on September 29th. We got shocked at the proposed fee changes and rushed to file our case which turned out to be unnecessary but at least we started the process. We initially planned to have her file when she got to year 5 to give our pockets a break, but did it based off marriage instead.

Estimated time looks to be Sep 2021 for our case.

Congrats to all 3 of you!  May I ask each of you what was your estimated case completion date?  Mine is June 2021 but I haven't heard anything with a Sept 30 file date.

Mine says January 2021 I filed September 2020

On 11/12/2020 we got a biometrics reuse notice on my husband's USCIS account.  He last got his biometrics taken on 10/24/2019 for I-751.  We filed his N-400 on 09/17/2020 and the estimated case completion date on USCIS still says June 2021.

We're just relieved we won't have to go to an ASC as COVID cases continue to rise!

Still haven’t gottten a biometrics notice. I filed 9/5/20 online and I am located in San Diego. Still got estimated 5 months (April 2021). I checked the processing time for SD and I think it was like 12.5-14 months. The last biometric I did was 2014 when I renewed by greencard. Maybe they will reuse it but I am not keeping my hopes up since it’s been 6 years. And thank goodness we filed before December 1 since they added more questions for the citizenship test for people who files on December 1 or after.

My last biometrics were in 2013 and I got notice they would be reused on Nov 21, hopefully they will for you too

I wonder what's the rationale behind the reuse of biometrics. I did mine in 2019 for the removal of conditions and have to take new ones. Who knows 😂
