Sorry to hear about the cancellation of your wife's interview. Did they tell you why it was cancelled?

what a freaking joke the people at USCIS are..

i filed before you and they received my RFE for i-944 in December, and my case still shows "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received"

still no biometrics or EAD. cases should be done in the order they were received.

the low IQ idiots at USCIS are most likely doing newer received cases before  doing the older ones.. if someone has an IQ of a peanut, they are automatically qualify as a USCIS agent. Smart people arent hired by these agencies

the US government and all of their agencies and employees are complete failures. no wonder the world is laughing at us..

hell, look at our economy.. it's in complete shambles, along with the $28 trillion national debt...

Curious to know if you got your EAD card yet 😄

Ugh... more waiting.  Had the interview this morning... Was told at the end by the officer that he expects that the case will be approved but that the paperwork just needs to be 'reviewed' this afternoon or tomorrow.  Told me about how there would be an approval letter in the mail first then the card itself, because we were married for less than 2 years that it'll be a conditional green card and need to file to remove conditions before that expires, but that he had to give me the paperwork to show that I had presented and that it needed 'review'.... that we should expect to hear in the next day or so regardless.  Kept a bunch of papers to add to the file.... handed back the passports and the Driver's Licences, etc and thanked us for coming in.  All very conversational.  Even saw him smiling through the mask....

Have I told you how much I'm ready to not be waiting anymore?!?!?!

Sorry to hear that! I had a similar situation- on the interview we found out that my medical wasn’t done properly in my country. So 3 weeks and 800$ later (for new medical) I’m stills waiting.
But hey! It’s the last step to go- I’m sure there is still many people who didn’t have their interview scheduled so I feel pretty lucky anyway! Last tiny step and we’ll get our GC’s very soon! Cheer up! ☺️

Wow it’s been months of silence for me. I’ve been working with my EAD which I received in Feb.

I got an update today that my interview has been scheduled. It’s such a relief, glad I’m one step closer to getting the conditional greencard.

Incase you are wondering, PD Sept 21 2020 Newark NJ

Congrats!

Lucky you. For me, I'm still waiting for EAD and Travel Parole. It seems is gonna take few months more. Internet case status still showing " we have received your documents on September 18, 2020".

No response regarding being out of normal processing times.

I'm mother of citizen.

Mother of citizen that’s cool.. You may not get to be interviewed .. I’ve seen parents just get I-485 approved with no interview.

I’m yet to know the date. I’ll call or chat Emma tomorrow to find out.

Thankfully we had no issues at all. It just seemed to be a checkbox thing they needed to do.

I got to 6pm and assumed that it was going to be tomorrow at least before it was ‘reviewed’…. Then at 6:24pm I got the update!!!

NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED!!

yay!!

Got the interview letter yesterday with an appointment date of September 3. Yay!

Where can we go to see reviews of folks' experience of the interview? Also, feel free to share your own in the thread if you already went through the interview process.

you can go here and search for your local office https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/

or you can go back to the progress report threads of people who filed before september, usually there's a bunch of people (me included) posting about how their interview went
