yes you did..

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the card since the “new card is being produced”

you are complaining about how long your card will take to get it in the mail...

you are so eager to get your card in the mail while other people are still waiting for biometric.. be grateful your AOS process is moving quicker than those whole filed BEFORE you...

This is a QUESTION not a complaint. My previous job is waiting for me to have my card so they can rehire me in their US offices and I was trying to find out what to tell them. I didn’t take your place or did anything different than you did so your anger is misplaced and jealousy is a bad thing.
Maybe if you were a nicer person you’d be luckier...

Anyway, for anyone interested in the future I found out USCIS says it takes up to a month for cards to arrive but normally arrives within 1-2 weeks.

Your process won't go faster by adding words to someone's post.

For your other question, if you're out of normal processing times for your EAD you could reach out to USCIS to put in a request. It's possible to ask to expedite it however I haven't seen many people be successful with that prior to biometrics. Other route is to contact your congressperson to put in a request for you.

I think it's too variable to know? I had bio done last month and nothing, it's very possible I'm gonna get the green card prior to getting EAD/AP...

Sorry if I wasn’t clear! I meant it takes this long for the card to be sent since uscis updates EAD status to “approved”, not since biometrics. It took 2 months since I did my biometrics but I honestly expected longer since I also heard that Chicago is slow.
i hope you get yours soon!

Yooooooo!!!! Calm down, he isn't your problem!!! If he wants to complain, he has every right under the sun to complain, same as you fam!!! What's all this negative energy??? There are people who filed for this process and got their green cards in 3 months, should we kill them because ours is taking longer? This is actually bullying!!! If He/She wants to complain, they can complain and it's for you to either ignore it and move on or appreciate that each luck is different and offer encouragements to each other.

No come dey ginger person here.

Fam! If you wanna complain, you can complain, no one here has the right to bother/bully anyone. It's a free space and we should all respect the opinion and feelings of everyone. So please, air your thoughts, your complaints and your frustrations if you so please.

You were clear I just re-read your post and realize my mistake. Yeah two weeks seems like a good time for it to arrive! Good luck and thanks :)

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share that I just got an update on USCIS website “new card is being produced” for my EAD! Im in Chicago and it’s been 62 days after my biometrics and about 20 days after they received my RFIE response for I-944.
Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the card since the “new card is being produced” status?

We got ours in about a week after status changed to card being produced.

Our status also got updated to this but we recently received a pink courtesy notice for 693(medical) so we r wondering if interview will be waived and we just mail in 693 OR will we have to do interview?

Check what your I-693 letter says. Mine indicated to take it with me to my interview. Others who had their interviews waived indicated that they had to mail-in their I693s. What does yours say?

It’s like in the pic it says do not mail, they will send RFE if we should mail or set interview and tell us to bring

but I’m wondering if we will just have to mail since I’m filing for my parent?

You can see in all caps that says "DO NOT MAIL DOCUMENTS AT THIS TIME.

This is just a courtesy letter. It just reminds you that you have yet to send your medicals and if you haven't done it, make sure that you go to a USCIS doctor and complete it.

When USCIS wants you to mail it instead, they will send another RFE letter to indicate that you HAVE to mail it in.
