Welp the i944 apparently is officially gone off of the US CIS website. Anyone else being cheated after spending all that time on it? Lol

Wow, and I recently sent it in about a week ago (they got it 5 days ago), ''cause I had gotten an RFE for it. Oh well, I guess they will probably just disregard it now. I do feel cheated wasting time on it!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share that I just got an update on USCIS website “new card is being produced” for my EAD! Im in Chicago and it’s been 62 days after my biometrics and about 20 days after they received my RFIE response for I-944.
Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the card since the “new card is being produced” status?

Hey there!

I have been putting this off and I am sorry for that! I received my letter for BIO appointment about 3 weeks ago (Feb. 27) and it is scheduled for next week, March 17th. A little update of my timeline:

Package sent: 09/15/2020 (I-944 included)

Package received by USCIS: 09/16/2020
Check cashed: 09/30/2020
Text notifications: 10/01/2020
NOA1 received: 10/05/2020

Biometrics appointment: 03/17/2021

I am looking forward to receiving further updates. Good luck everyone!

(PS: If there's anyone in the Miami region, please let me know! It would be great to discuss/share this experience together. Just a thought!)

Quick question, do you just get the mail notice for the biometrics appointment? Or does your case status also update online to let you know it’s been scheduled?

The case status doesn’t update at all, you just get the letter in the mail.

my case was received in september 2020 and they received my RFE for i-944 back in december, and my case status still shows "your case is being reviewed"

still no biometrics or EAD... is there a number i can call so they can look into my case? i feel like they forget about me.

you are complaining about how long your card will take to get it in the mail...

you are so eager to get your card in the mail while other people are still waiting for biometric.. be grateful your AOS process is moving quicker than those whole filed BEFORE you...
