I am also gathering supporting documents, but the letter says if part of the supporting documents are submitted that is what will be used to determine if you’d be a public charge.

So my point is, I really don’t have all docs, I would love to submit WES translated transcripts, Credit Score, Tax transcripts (I’ve been hustling as 1099 and pay my taxes regularly), and IT certifications I have achieved in the past and present (I am a tech guy)

For healthcare I do not have one and do not intend purchasing any private insurance. I hope this could prove that I am employable and would not be a public charge.

Is it bad to be a public charge for pregnant women?

It's for the medical, right? When did your parents had their medical in your country before coming to the US?

We still gathering our supporting documents for the I-944.  Hopefully later this month we will send it.

You're almost going to have the schedule for interview. Goodluck

Thank you! And Yes, I-693 is the medical.

They haven’t had medical yet, for AOS you must do it inside the US with a USCIS designated civil surgeon. I’ll schedule them an appointment as soon as the status for I-485 changes to “Case is ready for interview scheduling”

Wow. Your case is moving well. How about EAD and AP? Did they received it already?

Not yet, based upon what I’ve seen on June-Aug AOS filers, we should be getting a status update of Case approved/Card is being produced anytime now. Unfortunately, I don’t know what sort of timing implications this whole I-944 fiasco will bring upon us.

Alright guys, I got my RFE for my I-485.

USCIS are saying that I am required to file Form I-944 Declaration of Self- Sufficiency now.

Has anyone had the same happen to them?

What ?? I thought it was not mandatory then? Luckily I filed mine with I-944despite the court order. I saw a post here where one said a lawyer advised her to file with it even if it wasn’t mandatory.

Congratulations for your biometrics! 👏

this is a good information. So far not many people here got invitation for biometrics.

They will get theirs too. Let’s stay positive. Good thing they are working despite being slow.

Hello, new here - sharing my timeline as a September AOS filer:

9/8 Case was received

9/22 Fingerprint fee accepted

12/4 Ready to schedule interview

12/14 Interview scheduled

12/18 Interview canceled

I've sent all possible forms including i944 and i693 with my application. I haven't received a biometrics reuse or appointment so far. EAD/AP/i130 still on "Case was received". No idea what's going on, back on the waiting train. FO Missouri

Update: EAD case status changed to “New Card is Being Produced”. For both cases of my parents.
AP remains as “my case is received”. But I guess it doesn’t matter because it’s a combo card? Either way, they’re more interested in working than traveling at this point.

Hopefully the I-485 case status changes soon to  Ready to Schedule Interview.

I do not because i do not have ss# & my I94 is expired

I don't have SSN too. We applied SSN but I didn't use my maiden name so now I have to wait for EAD to approved to have my SSN. We are enrolled in my husband insurance.we told them that we don't have SSN and they approved us with my son.

Update:  EAD & AP status changed to "Case was Approved" today for both parents. Things seem to be moving. Anxious to see how long it takes to update I-485 to: "Case is Ready for Interview"

Did you request an expedite? This seems to be moving quite a bit faster than others.
