Hi guys,

I also received RFE today, assuming it’s for I-944. Luckily, I gathered all documents needed when the injunction was overthrown months ago. Sent off to our lawyer for review. For those still waiting for some sort of movement, hang in there. Our PD date was 9/21/20... we just got RFE today and still NO biometrics.

Wow that’s my PD Sept 21 I just checked and still no update I don’t want that RFE and I did not submit I-944 maybe If they give me Bio first then I’ll accept the RFE lol.

I just want the EAD to get started 2020 was stressful :(

I hear you. I know we have the same PD @Tropical_Man, so I think you will be seeing some movement very soon. I didn’t think they would send me an email update, but it seems like for RFE you’ll get a heads up. For biometrics, I’m seeing that people are initially finding out about their appointment by mail, no online update. Nonetheless, hang in there :)

I applied it for my wife based on fiance Visa. I miss applying for her Social Security because i was busy with covid Quarantine and the marriage ceremony & I am waiting to receive the approval for the I-765 so I can apply for her social. she is now pregnant & I cannot apply for her anything like medical card because she does not have a social security. anyone knows what to do in these kind situations? should I inform USCIS about the pregnancy maybe they could speed up the process? if anyone can help, please let me know as I do not have a lawyer for this. thanks for advance who can help

Received biometrics appointment today, almost exactly 90 days after the PD date (although the notice is dated last week). No RFE for us.

Are all cases now getting I-944 RFE eventually? Or is there any other stage typically required between biometrics and the interview?

1. AOS Package mailed to National benefits center on September 2nd 2020 (without I-944)

1. Fingerprint fee cashed in on September 18, 2020

2. I797's notices received  on October 8th , 2020

3. December 8th 2020: Online status updated to " Request for initial evidence"

Anyone else filed i485 without i944 received RFE? I am not sure though my RFE is related to I944 as I haven't received the mail.

Hello September filers. Our PD date is 9/8. Received NOA1 mid October. We called USCIS yesterday and miraculously spoke to a human. She said biometrics was mailed out Monday. How long is the turnaround to actually receive the notice?  Does anyone have a guess as to the biometrics date?  I’m just a bit paranoid bc of the holidays and extra mail delays. I don’t want to potentially miss an appointment!  Thanks

You'll receive a mail in a week or two. The Biometrics like ours scheduled 3weeks after the mail.

Happy that everyone gets their cases moving. Let's keep our hopes up. Happy Holidays 🥳

RFE for i944. Gathering docs now for our attorney to send out. How is my husband supposed to prove he won't be a public charge if he can't work yet? Lol luckily he's on my health insurance from my work. Still waiting to hear back for biometrics.
