Yes this is correct! I instructed the same thing. My i-485 receipt came in a week later cause of the holiday. Attached a copy of that (797 c) accepted receipt and one of the rejected receipt with updated i-765 form. For reasoning of the original rejection so they know and not reject again for no payment. Tragic. Good luck!

10/6/20 - received texts (i130/i485/i765/i131)

10/14/20 - received 4 separate letters in mail (i130/i485/i765/i131)

We got NOA a week after. I sent my package with I-944. The only thing I didn’t attach to I-944 was credit report with came a month later. I don’t have any report.

10/20/2020 - Checks finally cashed

 

Still waiting on the text notification but hopefully they come soon!

02/25/2021 - Sent inquiry about I-131 being outside normal processing time

03/08/2021 - Received Biometrics Notice by Email (Mailed copy didn't arrive)

03/18/2021 - Biometrics Appointment

03/19/2021 - I-485 and I-765 Updated to show fingerprints were taken

03/19/2021 - Ready to be scheduled for interview

03/22/2021 - Interview was Scheduled

03/28/2021 - Interview Notice Received

04/20/2021 - Interview

04/20/2021 - New Card is Being Produced

04/21/2021 - I-130 and I-485 Case was Approved

04/22/2021 - Card was Mailed

04/23/2021 - Card Picked Up by USPS

04/26/2021 - Green Card and I-130/I-485 Approval Notices Received

Hopefully you'll  get them, but you don't  akways get them by text. Sometimes  they pop up in the mail  and or people get them by calling.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

9/9 - Filed I-130 online

9/10 - Received receipt number for I-130
9/15 - Mailed packet without I-944 / included I-130 receipt number

9/16 - Packet received and signed by Harper

10/20 - Emailed lockbox

10/21 - Called USCIS - told me to wait for lockbox email response, nothing in the system - not been processed

 

The waiting game continues... my current H1B status expires on 11/15. I wonder if I am still here legally if I don't get my receipt.

Hi, has anyone had any experience of having the payment taken from their account but not getting any notification of receipt numbers etc?

9/21/20 — package received and signed for

10/4/20 — personal checks taken out

10/6/20 — received 4 texts application received with receipt # (i130/i485/i765/i131)

10/14/20 — received 4 NOA in mail

12/21/20 — received email notification for RFE for i-944

1/19/21 — called USCIS, biometrics scheduled + notice sent out on 1/15

1/23/21 — received biometrics letter in mail 

1/24/21 — sent i-944 RFE via UPS w/ signature confirmation

1/28/21 —  RFE received and USCIS continued to work on case

2/9/21 — biometrics taken 

2/19/21 — new card being produced (I-765).... case ready to be scheduled for interview (I-485)

2/22/21 — AP+EAD changed to "case was approved".... I-485 changed to interview was scheduled

Everyone’s case is different, but from what I’ve seen on VisaJourney it can take anywhere from a few of days to two weeks (or longer) before  texts are received. For us, personal checks were taken out on 10/4. Texts received 10/6. Physical NOA received in mail on 10/14. I’d give it another week. In the meantime, it doesn’t hurt to keep reaching out to them... I would if I were you.

Wow, that’s great :). I know someone who filed in August and is still waiting on their bio date :(  Good for you guys!

AOS sent 9/22. AOS delivered to Chicago 9/23. Still haven't heard anything from USCIS.It is 10/23 today. Is this normal?

Yes it's  about  normal although some cases are faster. You are coming up on 30 days now. You should be hearing something in the next week or so!
