Is a copy of I-129f petition required to K-1 interview?

My fiancé and I are applying for the K-1 visa. She is from Panama. We just submitted our DS-160 form. My fiancé said I need to send her a copy of our I-129f petition so she could take it to the interview but I stupidly can’t find it. Does she need a whole copy of the petition or is the I-129f approval notice sufficient?

No.  It's for her review and information but the consulate doesn't need it

They will have a copy of the I-129F in front of the CO officer either before or during the actual interview.

As others have said, its not required, but its useful to have your own copies.

 

You definitely need to start keeping good records of this sort of thing. I kept paper copies and electronic ones (in drop box). As you go through the immigration process there are times when you need to keep track of what you've sent previously - eg at interview they may ask you to bring originals of any copies you sent, etc. Life is much easier to keep all of this efficiently filed - avoids lots of problems and worries later. I imagine its also useful if you get an RFE - at least you can see exactly what you submitted.
