Hello everyone

I’m going to get married with a girl in US who have a US citizenship next month

we did know each other from relatives and the girl parents are so religious they don’t expect open relation like going out and visits before marriage and she wear the hejab

I am worried that we may not end risking their CR1 visa after marriage

Also she she earns 25 k .is this enough btw she lives with her parents currently and I guess she will live during the visa process as she canot live alone .she never been married before neither me nor we have children

thanks

Presumably by the time you interview you will have plenty of evidence, maybe you are limited before marriage but takes a year or so before you interview fora CR1.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

How much time will you be spending together in person after you are married?  Which country are you coming from?

Well you can of course submit evidence with your application, pre load it and that can be advantageous. Aslo of course when you interview. How important this is depends on the Consulate.

Actually we are both Palestinian originally , actually how much we can spend time with each other it will depend on US if they are going to allow us as I have tourism visa

can I get evidence during the interview after 1 year ? Or I’m not allowed to add any evidence form the moment we apply

How long do you plan to stay when you come to the US to get married?

Everything in your favor

as your country embassy people will understand that seeing each other before marriage is limited due to culture and religion

you were introduced by family

same religion

i assume near same age as never married and family approves

take some good photos when you come to support the application

income is on the low side but with CR1 the immigrant can work as soon as he finds a job

and that may be important when you decide to have a family

the best to you both

If she is living with her parents now and during the visa process .her family is of 4 members do they consider the household number is 5 or they just count us as 2

Unless they are on her tax return as dependents then I believe they will only count you as two

I am planning to stay 3 week as I don’t want to break the law or show that I’m interning to stay

I can come often as I have valid visa

It would be best to have as much time together as possible before filing the petition.  Maybe wait to file until after the second or third visit.
