Thank you, Thats what I needed to know. The Embassy sends the medical forms WITH packet 3...so he HAS to wait for those to get the physical. Thanks. Just looking for every time saving idea I can think of.

The embassy mailed my husband's papers (pakcket 3) to him with all the medical stuff that is required. He received a list of doctors to choose from. Your fiance will make an appointment with one of the doctors that is on the list and will bring the forms that the embassy mailed to him so the doctor will fill them out. At least that is how the embassy in Jordan did it.

No. That is how it is done in Jordan, not Egypt. In Egypt there are no forms sent in the pkt 3 that the doctor fills out. Just a listing of names of possible doctors he can go to. As I said, he can go anytime before the pkt 3 as long as you have a listing of doctors to go to. I would just want to find out how long the medical is good for first, since it doesn't state this in the pkt 3, though if you get it done once you get the NOA2 you should be ok. I just wouldn't do it before that since one never really really knows how long the approval will take.

All countries do things a little differently so you want to be sure you are taking the information from people who are dealing with your specific country. ;)

Doodlebug what would I do without you? I do think VSC has slowed down. My estimated date to have noa2 is sept 2!!! I've read many here that have filed 2 and 3 months ago and have gotten nothing back yet. I will check out that link. Thank you soo much.
