What are your questions and I'll try and point you in the right direction.

For medical, I am trying to figure out what I need. I'm 51 and moved from home province in '89. I don't have any immunisation records and my mom has passed so can't ask her. I know I was fully immunised but..?

Also I saw I need 4 passport photos for medical, but also saw 5. Can they all be same one/taken at same time? Do I get any of them back to take to interview or do I need another 2 for that?

Any idea of what actually happens in the medical? And cost? Waiting for K1 interview. Don't know if that's a different price.

Have my p4 but they closed same day I received so just trying to be ready as much as I can for when things start moving again.

Thanks

I did some googling and found this page. https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Medical/MTL - Montreal.pdf

It might be worth talking to your current doctor and see if you records are in the system.

For the passport photos check this website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html

You'll need 5 and I don't see why they can't all be the exact same one. I doubt you'll get any of these back.

For the cost I have no clue but you have to pay for the x-rays, blood test, and any vaccines you have to get.

Uuuuggggghhh! I moved provinces to be within driving distance to fiancé and have no doctor again. Took 5 yrs to get one in BC and Ontario doesn't seem any better.

Thanks for the links. I'll be deep diving later with them.

Might try calling the office of your old doctor and see if they can pull your records and mail them to you or something.

I don't think I mentioned but in the screenshot I added it says you don't need to have you records and if you don't have them the doctor will determine what vaccines you need.

My guess is this will end up resulting in you having to pay a bit more. Either by more tests or getting unneeded vaccines.

Just wonted to let you know that not having these records doesn't sop you from proceeding.

You can get a blood test that proves if you still have immunity. The only thing is that most vaccines I think wear off by the time your older so even if you got them the blood test will likely show that you need boosters of some of them. It's honestly a pretty simple fix. I needed a booster before my checkup and saw a walk-in doctor, vaccine was free.

Immigration doctor in Toronto was I think 500 plus maybe another 150 for x-rays and blood work. In that ballpark at least.

Medical was really quick, simple exam, asked a few questions, weighed me. It's only valid for 6 months though so I probably wouldn't schedule it until you get your interview.

I had mine in March for my interview that was cancelled. I'm not rescheduling it until I get a new interview date.

😲💸😲 the costs! *breathes deep* it will all be worth it.

Thanks so much for the info about bloodworm.  I can at least do that while I impatiently wait. 😁

Has anyone had any feedback on their K1 from Montreal?

I know they said they were starting to process them but has anyone got an interview date?

Just by checking the timelines on this website I don't think anyone has heard back yet.

I'm hoping they start hearing something by tomorrow.

In a K1 group on FB I did see two rescheduled for latea September and one who had been waiting for the final paperwork (already had interview before shutdown) finally get their passport and approval paperwork.

That's so exciting! I've heard about the person with the paperwork but now the rescheduled interview part. What is the group on facebook? I would like to join

Ok. Cool!

Im assuming they are still doing the scheduling/approvals on Wednesdays as they were Pre-Covid?

Refreshing CEAC at least 3 times an hour just waiting for something other than "AT NVC😄
