I askes a question about Trump’s proclamation and I think that I may offended people. I was asking the question to see if I could information on how it will affect my situation. I apologize for making Trump supporters upset and thinking that they had to run to his defense. I always say no one cares until a situation hits home.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I didn't think others saw your post as  offensive at all.  I think others were saying that all information cannot be trusted.

You do not need to apologize for your previous post; I think you just posted inaccurate information (not maliciously). You should always look for information from an official source; you had posted a YouTube video that a lawyer made; that is not an official source and she could have created it to obtain more clients and spread fear. It clearly worked because it made you nervous about your own pending I-131. Don't bother yourself with YouTube, unofficial Twitter pages, Facebook (or if you chose to look at it ; look at it with a grain of salt)- look at your country's US Embassy website, DHS, USCIS, etc website when looking for official information.

As always no one can predict the future all we know is what is written today so yes, things may change in the future, but until they are officially documented don't get worked up.

I don't think anyone thinks you posted that link with malice. But as others have said, don't bother with secondary sources. Look to USCIS' official website, DHS, and actual government websites (like your embassy/consulate). Generally speaking, spouses of US citizens are the "safest", as in least likely to be affected. Trust me when I say I am not a Trump supporter (I cannot say what I actually think of him and the current administration or else I'd get banned). Even though he's spewed very damaging rhetoric about immigration issues, he's ultimately not responsible at all for adjudicating cases or even policing USCIS. Any major changes would require a LONG time to implement anyways. It's not like we're all going to wake up tomorrow and find out that ALL family-related immigration is over and dead.

I read through that thread and I did not see anyone running to the President's defense. People provided information, explained where you were misinformed, and pointed out that your source is not very reliable. That's all.

And people provided that information. Don't turn it into a political argument by assuming that some people commenting are Trump supporters. Nothing in any of the comments indicated that they are, and it is completely irrelevant.
