Might send it back to you. Six weeks is a while. When your green card expire?

Our original submission was returned in August. Green Card expired end of August. We resubmitted immediately in September with  a correction. Between the first submission and the second, evidently the address had changed to Arizona. They received September 28. In 6 weeks the Money Order was never cashed and we have received nothing back.

I am thinking we cancel the Money Order, make a 3rd submission detailing all of this in a letter with the new submission. I have photographs to confirm my statements I can include.

ideas???

wouldn't it be nice if they can forward it? but they do not. At least I have not hear of that transfer yet, and your package might be coming back to you.

After 6 weeks, I think we need to move forward as though our application has been lost.

I doubt that it will be lost it always take time to come back to you tho.

I would hope to agree. At the moment my stepson sits here with an expired Green Card for 6 weeks. I really don’t care how long it takes for his Removal of Conditions, I just want the receipt giving him the 18 month extension.

Many members get their receipt in a couple weeks. How long is to long?

Under the current political and overall situation of the US it is difficult to say when is too long. In my case, I have  K2 AS WELL, and the petition was accepted on the 21st of September and check cashed on October 1st. My K2 received a letter of fingerprint waived and I am still here with nothing. While this is far more different than what you are experiencing, it is to say that there are being considerable delays.

Was being curious trying to check 100 near by cases of mine using the USCIS tracker. And I just found a case that was processed the same day as mine (From the fact that it starts also with EAC20901XXXX), was already approved and card mailed out 🤔😅

USCIS is really unpredictable lol.🤣

Hello All!

I just received my NOA Letter in the Mail! Woo Hoo!

Date Filed: 9/3/2020

Date Received: 9/4/2020

NOA Date: 9/10/2020

Check Cashed: 9/11/2020

NOA Letter Received 9/21/2020.

I also have a question. On 9/16 I received an update to my case saying name was updated. I didn't make any changes to my name and I double checked the paperwork I sent in and there was no errors. I was wondering if anyone else received this message? Or knows what it might mean. I have been looking in other forums but there is so many different answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hey did you get an answer with this? I just received the same update on mine. I did not change my name at all.
