Hi guys just a quick question I received the case number via text on 10/15 and also received the letter on 10/19 but still unable to track my case. Whenever I search for it gives me a error case status does not recognize. Should I contact USCIS or its a normal thing and wait few more days. Thanks.

I have read this has been a problem with this center. I will let someone from this center chime in to help you. Maybe search the MSC topics to see if you can find something.

You all wanna hear my completely speculative opinion?

By the way, check out the MSC ROC thread.

I think that there are two more possible options:

1. MSC was no longer processing ROC cases, but the backlog got to USCIS, and now they're back at it.  They literally just didn't update their system to even send information regarding ROC status updates yet.

2. The decision was made, that MSC will get all cases that will ultimately be decided at the field office level.  There's no reason for them to do anything, other than confirm that the form has the signatures, before sending it off to the local field office.  No updates on that - just when it's finally transferred.

It looks like plenty of people had their cases at MSC before this year, and some had interview waivers.  It appears pretty clear that some sort of process changes took place, but alas, none of us were part of that webinar so who knows what they're up to.  I actually sent an email to the ombudsperson to see if they do keep transcripts or recordings.

How long has it been?  we receive a finger letter for our K2 and nothing for the K1 yet and even the online system is not showing the update of the K2 but we can blame that on the system update. it is almost impossible to talk to a Living human being there.

Hi Jean - Our NOA 1 for the ROC was dated Sept 24.  So a little over a month for them to apply his fingerprints from the AOS.

TBH I’m not sure if they can do that with the K1s since the interview and immunization take place outside of the US and fall under the jurisdiction of NVC not USCIS.

i do not understand what you mean but even for the K2  same as the k1 part of the process is done out and in the US. In this case the whole process moved together. We got our green card the same day and everything.

I misunderstood your initial ask, I’m not the best person to answer your questions about that K1 and K2.

Have you looked in the K1/K2 filers groups?

Hey everyone,

I just got my case number and I'm going to LIN. Is this good or bad? Was thinking I'd be WAC so just curious.

Thanks!
