Ok people hang in there it is going to be an interesting wait this time.

so yesterday, a letter came for my daughter. the letter mentioned that her fingerprint is waived ( I know some people say USCIS don't take minor's fingerprint well they took my daughter's during the AOS process ). Anyway should i wait for another one to come for me or should I call now? or is this one somehow means that both our fingerprints are waived?

Thanks.

I think if it is addressed to you daughter only, then it would only be for your daughter's case. Because they would state otherwise. So that means they might have not yet decided to waive your fingerprints

So it seem like you have to just keep an eye out on this webpage https://www.dhs.gov/office-citizenship-and-immigration-services-ombudsmans-webinar-series under the ‘Upcoming webinars’ and there will be a link at the bottom of the page that they posted about the webinar, you click the link and it’ll take you to an email draft where you rsvp your info and then I think they will email you back the link to the webinar with information about it.

Oh thanks a lot!

I will do that right now!!

Yeah I went ahead and RSVP'd to the fiscal challenges one... Curious to see if they expect the backlog to grow, and if some petitions will be prioritized over others.

I haven't been particularly active on this forum since a bit after AOS, but I noticed people's signatures and timelines are so drastically different.  My AOS was adjudicated in about six months, which was crazy fast in 2018.  People before and after breezed through in 3-4 months!  And others waited for 18 months!  Crazy.  I guess even know there are people getting their permanent cards from Feb/March 2020, and others are still waiting from early/mid 2019.  How inconsistent.

Hi Everyone,

May I ask what is Alien Registration Number? If I got my 2 years green card and now apply for I-751 then the A number is my USCIS number on the card?

Thanks!

Hey Guys, September filer here! NOA1 was October 1st. I’ve just noticed that my case updated on the 15th saying “show fingerprints were taken” I’ve had a quick look on this thread, but can’t seem to find much. Does this mean my biometrics will be waived? Also my case is “LIN” Nebraska I believe? Does anyone know if this is a quick(er) or slower office? I’m for sure going to get a request for evidence which sucks! I forgot the affidavits! Thanks in advance! Levi 442694E2-D69D-4D3E-B391-5BC61D69F6BF.thumb.jpeg.d0d76a766c8dcb5934adf415ebdb8a4f.jpeg

Hi yes exactely, to both of your question. For now, LIN is the 2nd fastest office as many people's fingerprints have been waived. You can check our google sheet. (The fastest still being EAC office which is in VT)

Oh really? That’s great news! I was kind of worried seeing how big everyone’s packages were on here! Mine was pretty small! I came on this site after I sent my package (typical!!) and then saw all of these different things that people had sent! Fingers crossed for both of us!
