Hello everyone! Need a bit of help...

Does anyone have the official instructions to fill out the I-944 form? I have looked on the USICS website and they only provide the form itself, but I could not find the instructions to fill it out.

Thank you! This is indeed helpful!

Would you recommend sending the I-944 with supporting docs even though we do not currently need to do so?

I have all the supporting docs for I-944 in hands. Might as well send it since I have it all.

Hello!

What should I write on the forms if I do not have SSN, A-Number and USCIS number. Do I leave the fields blank or I write "None"?

Thanks, Nancy!

Also, a few addresses don't fit in the address fields in the I-485 form. How to proceed in this case? Thanks for the help :)

You’ll get better help if we know a bit about what process you are doing. Please fill in your time line so we know how to help. Then your question can be placed in the best forum. .. you put it in “ what visa do I need”.. but the I 485 relates to Adjustment of Status and not to a visa .. help us help you ! 😁

You can either handwrite in that field or insert a supplement paper with addresses filled properly, remember to note it.

A-Number

"None" since you don't have one yet. When either I-765 or I-130 is approved (whichever occurs first) you'll be assigned one.

On the EAD and GC it's called "USCIS#"

USCIS_13.0-List-A-EAD-Current-Front_241x

USCIS_13.0-List-A-PRC-Current-Front_241x

On the I-130 approval notice it'll be in the "Beneficiary" box above beneficiary's name:

Form+I-797C,+Notice+of+Action-+I-130+App

In "A000 000 000" format.

USCIS number.

The forms say "USCIS Online Account Number." Don't confuse it with A# (USCIS#).

Send I-485 without I-944. You can keep the supporting docs handy just in case, but odds are they won't be requested.

I will handwrite the address that is too long to fill out using the computer. Thanks for the help -- I really appreciate it!

We filed on August 3 and did send I-944. We had all the required documents compiled already and our lawyer advised us to include it just in case.
