4.5 to 6.5 months as per USCIS processing times for VSC.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

Hi, I'm July 202 filer. I'll let you know if I get any update.

I'm in the same boat, anxiously waiting for biometric appointment to get EAD.

Hang in there, this is a very long road. Hopefully we will get our work permits soon so we can start piecing our lives back together and start a new life. There are other people here that had filed around the same time. Most VAWA topics are discussed in main thread (it's to the page 20 now). If you haven't seen it, I recommend to go through at least part 19.

Good luck with your journey, dear!

🙏🙏🙏

My timeline:

July 21 2020 Filed 360, 465, 765 (c9), 131

July 24 2020 Case received

July 28 2020 Notice receipts sent for all forms

July 30 2020 Check cashed

Aug   5 2020 Received notices by email from my attorney

My timeline update:

July 21 2020 Filed 360, 465, 765 (c9), 131, Local office Philadelphia

July 24 2020 Case received

July 28 2020 Notice receipts sent for all forms

July 30 2020 Check cashed

Aug   5 2020 Received notices by email from my attorney

Sep 18 2020 USCIS issued request for additional evidence dated 9/11/2020 for good moral character

Sep 29 2020 Received notice copy by email from my attorney

Looks like it took 18 days to receive the notice from the issue date. Post office is pretty slow, but could be worse given the situation.

No word for biometrics yet.

Anyone else any updates?

Keeping fingers crossed for speedy positive adjudications, and lots of them!!!

Same here, waiting patiently for Ead. I wish they would make the process a little faster for vawa cause we are on our own and need to help ourselves.

I filed in June 2020, So far only received receipt notices. Checking the mail like a mad person everyday hoping to get biometric appointment.

lets keep each other posted.

Blessings to everyone

Hello, I have filed i360, I485 and I765 (c31), I haven't gotten my receipt notice yet but I read on here that I should have filed i765 (c9) instead of (c31) so that I can work while my i360 and i485 is pending approval, can I resubmit a i765 (c9) so I can receive an ead as soon as possible as things are getting hard for me and my son.

Good luck to everyone ☺️

@MrDoubleThums

Hi there! Welcome to the club! You will find a large VAWA forum under AOS and Effects of major changes at

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/752743-vawa-part-21/page/96/#comments

There is a lot of information and a lot of people in a similar situation who help each other. Chances are whatever question you have, it has already been answered. Take your time and read from current thread back a part or two. It will give you an idea what to expect, how are other cases moving, how people are coping and any recent changes locally. Also it is very reassuring to know that you're not alone in your journey.

As for your question - just file form I-765 (c9), you can add I-131 as well to get a combo card for work and travel. Waiting times are huge, I'm waiting since July. Hope all will be quicker in the near future.

You can have (c31) and (c9) pending at the same time, so there is no need to change current filing. If you have paid a fee for I-485 the new forms should be free, otherwise a fee is due or another application for a waiver.

Good luck!
