True but I suspect this is the wounded (ex)spouse posting to see if he had a chance of fixing it without her knowing, he could have divorced by publication and remarried if he claimed to not know where she was.

Below is the tale of the towel, one of the more entertaining threads that I hope isn’t real given the final development - she then basically smuggled the ‘niece’ into the country.

I came across the sweaty towel story a while ago and I have to say it has to be my favorite story so far on here.

Holy cow and wtaf, the first story (the towel) was bad enough but I’ve just read the first page of the child smuggling one... makes OP’s story look like an angel . Clearly I usually hang out in the way more boring sections of VJ.

Terri!

I miss her, she had a few threads.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Do you have a link? I can't find the child smuggling thread on mobile.

Well she didn’t call it smuggling of course but here

I guess technically trafficking rather than smuggling. Once I read it all, it seemed like one family was basically using another to get them all into the US ...

No-one is judging you. So sorry you had to go through this. If you have not finalized your divorce yet please make sure you have a good lawyer to tie up all the loose ends. I don’t understand why you are trying to help him when he treated you so badly though. He’s in a big mess and it’s all his own making. Say goodbye and good riddance to this person and hope you find a truly good person next time.

We do not judge on VJ, but it does make thinks much simpler of posters are straightforward with the situation.

You have however been given excellent guidance.

Thank you very much. I am just trying to help him. He is not a bad person on the other hand  you are right.  I should  let him resolve his own problems.
