We haven't even received a biometrics appointment, and it's been 4 months since getting our NOA1 for I-485 and I-765. There has been no change whatsoever when I look up the receipt numbers on the USCIS website. Not RFEs, just radio silence.

What is taking so long? It usually takes only a month or two for the biometrics appointment...

The field offices and ASCs have been closed for public for a couple months as you might heard. There's quite a backlog now that needs to be cleared before they're going back to the times we've seen before the closure.

We filled mid-April and just had our biometrics at the St.Paul office. Depends which USCIS office you will go to but I imagine it will be very soon.

If you want to see if it’s scheduled you can call USCIS.

My NOA1 is also on its 4 month and I still don’t have a bio appointment. I have been calling USCIS once per week, trying to get more info and still no forecast. With the new processing times on their website and I have the feeling it won’t happen so fast like used to be...

Hi everyone do you think it's a good idea to file my K1 petition now in October?  I am totally confused because there is no information about anything, and looking here, not even the biometrics they are taking, since my fiance is in the USA and I in Brazil and I don't have any other type of visa at the moment!  i'm afraid to be too late and take too long to get into the usa

Could you meet in Brazil or other country and marry? If you marry, the US citizen can file I-130 petition for CR-1 visa.
