Doesn't sound to me like he's actually condemning the actions, he's just worried it will help Trump's campaign.

 

I did love one of the comments to the article, however.  

 

Ted Wheeler standing his police down as he did for so long sent a message to people like Antifa, BLM, looters, rioters in general, endorsing and encouraging that behavior the same way their DA's policy of immediately releasing people rioting et al sent the message that they're welcome to keep committing violent crimes at will. The messages were received loud and clear, the accused murderer of the Trump supporter should've been in jail but was immediately released to go commit further crimes. Their supposed statements are irrelevant when their actions contradict them, just like Antifa's claims of being anti-fascist are irrelevant when they torch random buildings and attack/beat down anyone they disagree with. This attempt to redefine reality and the logical ways we derive conclusions is part of the psychological games they play, and in this case gaslighting. It's why lefties hate when others use the term, because they want exclusive rights to it and want to control all narratives around it. Won't work here. 

 

So the next thing I do is look at who's focusing on their clearly meaningless statements and why they are. Overtly it's from people supporting that extremism and the corrupt politicians kindling it all because they believe it negatively impacts Trump. Biden's about-face on Kenosha and his+media's changing tune point out that these extremists don't have public support and the public doesn't blame Trump for the actions of those people as they (the left+media+DNC) formerly tried to push and make others believe. Dems have no positive contribution to American society so all they have is tearing the place up, fomenting chaos, and hoping Trump gets the blame, and people come running to the very establishments working so hard to destabilize the US if they can't get their way.
