Part 3 asks when I am intending to depart, expects dlength of trip.. however I don’t have any trips planned. Do I leave this blank?

part 4 asks for the purpose of the trip.. again I don’t have any tips planned (I would only be going back home to Canada when possible)

part 7  how many trips do I intend to use with the document. Again I have nothing planned.

Am I only supposed to apply for advanced parole if I have a trip back home planned?  I will want to visit home when I can but I have nothing planned.  Maybe I am confused with this document.

any help would be great thanks!

I-131 is for advance parole, not I-130.

Are you getting an immigrant visa abroad or doing AOS within the US? AP only applies for people within the US already, and there is no need for AP with an immigrant visa. But this was posted in the IR-1/CR-1 forum and your profile shows the same, so I’m not sure what flow you are doing.

We used “TBD” and “As needed” fine for our AP due to AOS.

If you're asking about Part 2 of the I-131, your category would be 1 d.

Good luck!

You don't have one yet. When either I-765 or I-130 is approved (whichever occurs first) you'll be assigned one.

On the EAD and GC it's called "USCIS#"

USCIS_13.0-List-A-EAD-Current-Front_241x

USCIS_13.0-List-A-PRC-Current-Front_241x

On the I-130 approval notice it'll be in the "Beneficiary" box above beneficiary's name:

Form+I-797C,+Notice+of+Action-+I-130+App

In "A000 000 000" format.
