Hi guys!

so I booked my flight tickets, I have an employee letter, certified copy of marriage certificate, proof of return flight etc..

i’m going in September to visit my husband Flying from Amsterdam.

one more question, - I’m going 11 full days, but do I have to go in quarantine once I arrive or not ? and are they going to control that/make sure you are ?

Are you sure you're allowed to enter the country?

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html

If you are, it's likely you have to fill out a survey when you arrive.

You can be fined if they find out you didn't quarantine, I think that's only happened to 1 person so far though.

But it sounds like you have no plans to follow that.

Here are the details.

Where does she say the destination is New York?

OP, it does depend on destination. If you’re going to New York, then the above link applies to you. Otherwise find out if there is a state/city requirement where you are going, and if there is, adhere to it.

Just make sure of the airline policy.  Some airlines and/or local agents of the airline are not fully aware of the exemption for spouses.  Some have asked to see spouse visas or letters from the US embassy.  I would call and clear it with them ahead of time.

Nothing with immigration, but everything with quarantine policies due to Covid (if any).

had JFK in my head cause a lot of flights go through there.

The CDC link applies to everyone no matter the destination if still in effect, that's the country in general.

The info in that link is just recommended. No official federal policy. COVID quarantine rules are state specific.

What specific part of the CDC link are you referring to? I looked at the page you linked but just saw the stuff about the Presidential Proclamation European etc ban, which OP is exempt from.
My understanding of all CDC stuff related to Covid is that it is recommendations not mandatory.

Yup, the federal government has deferred those decisions to local jurisdictions. Until recently, the page Babu Frik shared clearly said: "CDC recommends that travelers stay home and monitor their health for 14 days." https://web.archive.org/web/20200816144341/https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html So not required by a federal rule or regulation.
