Joint Credit Cards?

Don't black out the WHOLE number on the credit card photocopy.  The first 4 digits of the card indicate the bank who issues the card - so don't black those out.  If you feel you have to black out numbers, black out numbers 9-12 or the last 4 digits.  Sometimes the cards have the same numbers, and sometimes the numbers are slightly different.  That's why having a photocopy of the cards AND a matching statement are good.

 

We did NOT black out numbers.  We photocopied 3 credit cards (none of which were joint - but where we each were signers), and then gave a sample of statements to match the cards.

In our case, the cards show his name on his card, my name on my card. Both cards have the same numbers. 

 

The statements on the other hand are only in my name as I'm the account holder, my USC husband is "only" an authorized user so his name doesn't appear anywhere apart from on his card. The statements don't show who paid for what.

 

So yes, of course we copied our credit cards, front and back and sent that as evidence. No blacking out information.

You can send credit card statements that shows charges made by spouse and conditional resident ShowYour credit card but only show last 4 digits and black out the rest of the digits.
