Ok, the check has been cashed. Now what? I received the copy of the check. I was reading that I should look for something on the back. What am I looking for? When should I received a NOA1? Does it come in the regular mail, or will they send me an email? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Look for your case number on the back. It should have three letters followed by a series of numbers. You can use that number to sign up for email notifications on the USCIS website. The NOA1 is merely a receipt telling you that USCIS has your application for petitioning your fiancé. It also has your case number on it. The hard copy comes by regular mail. Congratulations...you and your fiancé are on the way!

Your journey is now starting. You will recieve and hard copy in the mail. Now is the time to begin gathering all emails and phone records. Make copies of your passport with stamps and any visas that you recieve to enter Ghana. Make a copy of your flight information, and gather any pictures you may have. Just begin to compile as much evidence as possible to prove your relationship.
