Hi

our priority date is 04/24/20 and the case was transferred from Nebraska to Vermont.
it’s been 127 days and we have not heard anything. Should I be alarmed? While speaking to a case representative I was told to contact Vermont SC in writing only and the address they gave me was “attn : VAWA unit”

Does anyone else have experience with Vermont SC and are they responsive to written questions and requests?
also what does the date mean on the visa journey processing times ? I checked today and it said VSC: april 23,2020.
can someone explain. Thank you so much :)

I'm in the same situation as you. Got case transferred from Texas to vermont. Its been 13 months now. Case is still pending and is within the normal processing times of VSC. I did live chat with a representative asked about the case status they again gave a vague reply that it is pending and is within normal processing times of Vermont which are crazy long (21 to 27.5 months as per USCIS website). The VJ timelines aren't that accurate so I would suggest you to keep up to date with the USCIS processing times on their site. I personally never wrote to VSC so can't quite comment on how helpful it would be. Expect a generic reply from them though. But for your own satisfaction you may write to them.

The VJ processing time list just means that, according to SOME VJ members, cases received as of April 23, 2020 are being adjudicated.  It does not mean all cases from that date have been done.  If the USCIS service center answers any questions at all, they won't give you any legal advice.

it could take longer sometimes if they transfer your case to other service center. 4 months is still normal and you might need to wait for a while and try to keep checking the dates on USCIS website. if you curious just try to call them. my case was not in VSC, but after 9 months we hear nothing, my husband tried to called them and you can check about the progress

You're well within processing time for any service center.

Btw, how did you find out you were transferred?

Around 2 years to get through USCIS stage is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. There is no excuse for this wait time. Just playing with people's lives.

Our PD is June 24, 2019 we were transferred from Nebraska to Vermont in February 2020. My lawyer mentioned that our case was out of processing time so i called and put in a service request 7/29/2020. The service request response was that the case was pending consideration with and officer and that we would receive notice or decision soon.

processing times for a spouse should not take years. No matter were its at. Its frustratingly ridiculous.

Pending consideration? Nice wording they use. After the background check and checked to make sure your marriage is legit the approval shod be issued. Its almost like they can play god over your life if you don't fit the officers narrative of the ideal marriage.
