  • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

You may know how to read but you failed to retrieve and access the P3 embassy letter from the Netherlands which distinctly says 6 months. Please let me enlighten you with the details from the letter:

 

7- police certificate (the VOG) from The Netherlands (get this NOW!) Not older than six months
8 - police certificate for all countries lived in for more than 6 months after age 16, if applicable (except US) 9-2 copies of court or prison records, if applicable. Persons who have been convicted of a crime must submit each court record and any prison record, regardless if they may have received amnesty, a pardon, or another act of clemency. English translations of all court and prison records must be provided

Absolutely required. I had to obtain one from a Thailand, it was difficult but obtainable. S. Korea should have an option for citizens who live abroad to obtain their police records? Also it has to be in English, so if they can’t provide an English one you may want to have it officially translated.
