Yo @mbssss i decided to come back and check on your progress. DAMN!!!!!

so the 944 is now required?!?!?!?!?!?  I still haven't gotten an RFIE or any communication whatsoever from USCIS. What state are you filing from? I read somewhere about there being plaintiff states and whatnot

09/29/2020 - Received Text Message Receipts (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/05/2020 - Received Hard Copy Mail Receipts (NOA?) (I-485, I-130, I-131)

10/12/2020 - Sent new I-765 form

10/14/2020 - New version of I-765 received in Chicago

03/10/2021 - Notice of Deficiency (Missing I-693 Medical Form)

06/25/2021 - Receive Biometrics Appointment Letter

07/23/2021 - Biometrics Appointment at Norfolk VA USCIS Office

07/23/2021 - 485 & 765 statuses changed to "Initial Review"

07/29/2021 - Interview Ready to Be Scheduled

08/13/2021 - Interview Scheduled for September 21st

09/21/2021 - Interview at USCIS Norfolk VA

09/21/2021 - Email saying “card produced and mailed”

09/24/2021 - Approval email sent for I-485

09/28/2021 - Green Card mailed by USCIS (email notification)

09/29/2021 - Green Card delivered to mailbox (also email notification)

10/01/2021 - I-765 rejected because “benefits were obtained via other means”

 

13 Months Total, No Lawyer or assistance besides USCIS website and VisaJourney, you can do it too!!!!

Was your I-485 accepted? What matters is that I-485 is filed before 10/02/20 and full I-485 fee is paid. If that is done, I-765 and/or I-131 can still be filed later without fee. Renewals and replacem

Yeah, I just shipped it last night!! 

 

It is required sadly, I got my RFIE in mid December so you should get it at any point honestly. My online page updated when they sent it out too. I am filing from Pennsylvania so I'm not in a plaintiff state or anything.

 

Hopefully you get it soon if it is required in your state so you can get that going!

I'm in Virginia which i saw was on that list....

Still, it sucks knowing that any day i might have to send in that form. Especially with the already long wait times between the processes. If i knew they were gonna make a decision on my case tomorrow i wouldn't worry. But i feel like two or three months from now they might just be like "here buddy, take care of this RFIE"

Without an explanation, it seems USCIS is just ignoring the federal appellate court's decision.

Oh really? I did not know that. That is very weird how they're just ignoring that decision but i'm not too familar with things of that nature.

It looks like PA is a plaintiff state but I still got it so I guess as @HRQX mentioned, they are ignoring that decision and still requesting them. I would just see if you can get everything ready in case they do send you the RFE. Maybe wait to get any evaluations of diplomas etc but see if you can get the other stuff ready to go just in case so that you can send it out fast in case they do request it. 

 

I totally feel you on that. It took me about 3 weeks to send the I-944 after getting the RFE so my case was on hold for almost a month. Yikes.....

Bro what's going on... I haven't even been here in a while since I decided to just play the waiting game.

A few weeks ago we got a letter saying our application was missing the medical. They said not to send it in and to just have it ready in case an interview is to be scheduled.

Nothing has been updated online. Nothing else has been sent.
