Sent in the old I-765. Will our package get rejected???

When I sent the first package I used the fastest delivery option and paid almost $40. This time i wasn't in a hurry so i chose the slowest option for $11 and it still got there in a day.

Awesome!! I'm still waiting for my physical reciepts but I'll probably get them any day now. 

 

Now we just wait for who knows how long 😅

I resent my updated I-765 on Oct 29, arrived Nov 2, no receipt yet. Did you get a text even without filing a new G-1145?

 

I only sent the I-765 but I did already have receipt number for I-485 to attach.

I filed the G-1145 so it is possible that you just wont get a text and just have to wait for the physical notice. Did you try calling USCIS to see if they have processed anything? That being said, it took about 3 weeks for them to process mine so you are still in the early stages so don't worry

Hello everyone. 
I sent my package on August 26th as well. With an old form. Got it back, resent it. No news yet. Unfortunately I read everything here too late. I did not included the copy of my NOA letter. Do you think there something I can do at this point? 
but I did put my alien number in the form. And another question is anyone of you were called to fingerprint? It’s 75 days from the date I submitted, and 41 days since they accepted the fee for fingerprints.

I don't think there's anything you can do at this point but to wait. I'm not really sure if that will work or not, maybe someone else will know. If you put your A-number on there, it might be fine? What date did your re-submission arrive at USCIS? 

 

Did you specify at all that your I-485 was submitted and accepted already?

It arrived on 19th of October. No, I didn’t put anything except “A” number. I just thought if my 765 says under category c(9) which is the ones who adjusting status(485). They should understand it.

Got it. Well it took about 3 weeks for me to hear anything back so you'll probably hear something back any day now.

 

Good point! I actually have no idea. Maybe search around on the website? I'm sure that there's someone in a similar situation. I mean, I feel like it should be fine since they can easily look everything up with your A-number but someone please correct me if I am wrong.

@mbssss do you know the average wait time for the next step? is the next step the medical, biometrics, interview? kinda not sure of what to look out for now

I believe that if you did not submit the medical, you will get a courtesy letter just telling you to bring it to your interview and then it would be biometrics and lastly the interview. And then somewhere between biometrics and the interview, we'll get the EAD and the AP.

 

I know that normally (during non-covid times) people usually get biometrics in about 30 days but obviously due to covid and other factors, it is taking longer currently so I have no idea how long we might have to wait. It depends on how busy the particular center in your area is really.

 

I guess all we can do is hold our thumbs and hope we get it soon.

My wife received the I-797C for the replacement/new I-765 form last week...

I-765 received date: 22 September

Notice date:  31 October

And FWIW, the receipt number begins with "IOE"  ("Integrated Operating Environment")

Awesome! I got an IOE number as well so they are probably starting to move to that for the I-765 forms at least.
