I-865 and AR-11

So I have two questions about these "change of address" forms. 

1. My mom is an LPR, and when she moved with me (this was before I filed my F2B AOS) , she filed AR-11. She got an online receipt(?) and an online confirmation number for this. Should she have received a mail confirmation as well? 

 

2. My sister, who is my financial sponsor for my AOS, has just moved a few days ago. I know she should file I-865, but how do we know that the USCIS one, got the mail and two, processed it properly? I don't trust phone agents after reading many many threads about their inconsistencies. TBH, from my understanding, USCIS or DHS won't ever contact my sister unless I got public benefit and they want her to pay for the expense. 

 

Any information would be appreciated. We hired a competent lawyer for my AOS case and I could ask her, but she is currently out of town. I can already hear people telling me I wasted money but with all three of us being full time employed and wasn't sure how I-944 would be handled, we decided to hire a lawyer after much much background checks(?).

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention that my mom actually filed her AR-11 around April of this year, which was during the initial chaos of covid-19. Maybe that's why she didn't get a mail? I also tried to get a new-copy of her AR-11 just to see if it works from USCIS website, and...the website says it doesn't have it.

ANOTHER EDIT: Ok, I am stupid and was able to retrieve mom's AR-11 from USCIS website. The problem was due to my copy and pasting the confimrratino number instead of manually typing it out.
