Touches are like dessert. You may not get any. Not to worry.

Yeah, question about being 'touched'. Are you all monitoring this at the USCS website where you create an account and monitor your case via the number on the NOAs? Then with the email option, whenever they do something with your file, they enter something in the computer and you are sent an email your case was 'touched'?

Am I understanding this correctly? Just wondering because I have my NOAs for my I130 and 129F but have never been 'touched'

Thanks all!!

You can sign up for email notifications on the USCIS website with your case number. That's where many find out about these touches. Really though, touches aren't a big deal...some people get tons of touches, some get none. We were one of those that never got a touch before my husband's (then fiancé) K1 was approved. Not being touched doesn't mean your case isn't being worked on. :)

We have sent our I 130 on 15 February and nothing yet. Actually we don't have touches too. Only before a week but this was because we called CSC through RFE line. So you are not the only one who sent in February and without touches. I don't agree that touches are not important. Most people here when receive real touches got their approval soon or got RFE. So touches mean that somebody work on your case. I am sure that nobody has worked or looked on our cases. I am wondering what is so difficult to approve them. Moreover we are married more than a year and have a child.

I hope you, me and all February and March filers to receive approval soon. (within week or two :) ).
