Hey guys!

Wondering if I could get some insight - I came to the US in Dec on K1, and filed for AOS in mid-Feb. My EAD and AP were approved July 24th. I checked the 'case status' and it still says 'case approved,' and hasn't switched to card being produced or anything like that. So I was wondering how long before I should be worried that my EAD card hasn't been sent? Interested to hear other people's experiences.

I also was confused because I got a notice for a biometrics appointment for my I765 and my I131, scheduling my appointment for Aug 31. But if my EAD + AP card has already been approved wouldn't I not need biometrics? Curious if anyone else has had this happen, because when I spoke to USCIS on the phone back in July, they said my biometrics had been waived.

Finally, I got my new SSN card in the mail that says 'valid to work' but it says it must be accompanied by a document proving my status or something like that. Assuming this other document will be my EAD card?

Thanks in advance for any insights you may have!

The card can't be produced without biometrics. After your biometrics, wait about 2 weeks for the card.

Yes, must present EAD for I-9 purposes.

Note that the USCIS phone line is known as the "misinformation line."

I was confused about this initially because that site really makes it seem like the List B document needs to be from a US state, but your native passport will suffice.

I started work about a month ago, and all they needed were pics of the I-765 approval letter and my UK passport.
