I know. I’m giving myself 30 days from now and then I’ll start getting worried. That would be exact 7.5 months.

Another 10 more days and it will be 7 months for me. Yet it sure has felt so much longer. I don't think I could handle it being too much longer than that, these past few months haven't always been easy.

NOA1 September 9th and received NOA2 approval yesterday 3/24 (in the middle of the night?!).
I was so worried that it would take much longer to receive the NOA2 approval, but here it is!

Now for more waiting...😅

Congrats! I am not until the end of Sept (21) so I am excited when I see posts like this.

How did you create this spread?! I’m not until January but I thought this a great way to track movement

A user here (ChristmasCowboy) linked me a spreadsheet he used and I customized it to look like above. As you can see, it has columns for the case range, dates included, number approved / rejected / rfe, then total and undecided.

It works like this:

  • You get the CaseTracker app from the iOS app store
  • In the Search tab, enter a starting case number ending in -000 and with search range 500 and hit Search. Enter this into a new row.
  • When the search is done, look at the bottom and choose I-129F for fiance K-1 visas, because the search finds all visas and we only want these. Look at the earliest Case Was Received to find the start date of that number range, and then scroll down for the last in Case Was Received for the end date. On busy days it may be the same day! Put that in the Date column.
  • Now choose the Graph icon to the right of the Search bar. Again, this shows all visas, so select only I-129F. Now you'll see the Approved/Rejected/RFE/Decision/Other. The Other is the untouched/no decision made here. Enter all of this data into the respective column areas along this row.
  • Great, you've filled out one row! Now hit back, and go to that number you searched, and edit it to end in -500. (so instad of 64000, it's 64500). Now repeat the process of sort to I-129F, check dates, graph, fill in data.
  • Repeat this search-by-500 process until you've mapped out the entire month you're looking at...

How do you know how to track January's? Well, pick your own case number and work backward. You'll see when I start posting full September sheets that September had the breakpoint from WAC20901 to WAC219 number issuances. Find your number, then work back to find the last 5 digits, then start running batches from there. Feel free to DM me and I'll get you a sheet copy, I'd be happy for other people to take this over for their own months / to help people in other months out!

Thank you so much!!!! This was very helpful. I will continue to watch you with the September spread and will work on this for the upcoming months. I have the case tracker app and pretty familiar with it! Thanks again!!

I'll ask this here. My NOA1 was on September 4th last year, so nearly 7 months. Current Receipt date for a case inquiry according to USCIS is August 30th. So my question is, when will I be able to enquire about my case (if need be)? 🤷‍♀️
