Slower day today. though by the end of the week we should be at 50% clearance of the September cases.  By the end of next week, all of the cases should fall under the USCIS outside of normal processing time.  I hope that this does help the remaining cases, I'm really sorry that things feel so slow.  I also anticipate somewhere close to 60% clearance by the end of the next week.

I really want to understand this excel sheet....is it that Uscis are still working on september i-129F or what ...

But I have heard of people who filed in November getting their NoA2..

Can someone explain this process for me

Why is everything not in uniform

No one can really understand the US Government process lol. We have no idea why they randomly started to approve November applicants. We can only speculate at this point. And yes they are still working on September.

Super anxious I got my RFE notice in the app last Friday but no mail yet. My mailperson has seen me greet her at the door all week and asked me today what I was waiting for and I said "mail related my my engagement visa" and she was like "aw, sweetie, I hope I can hand it to you tomorrow" which was very nice of her. The notification said if I don't have it by next Friday ask them to resend, I'm just impatient. I truly wish they could just tell us online what it is and we could refile it online rather than a week of waiting.

It took me about 6 business days to get mine in mail. Hopefully you get it soon, and it is an easy fix!

Hi! I have called and asked this direct question and the representative says they do their best in going by those that are received but cases that require a more detailed review or are extensive puts them out of order and it may look that way [that we may be skipped or overlooked].

US Government process

Keywords right there.  I was talking to an ex military person last weekend and mentioned this.  She said "All you had to do was say US Government and procedures and I completely understood.  When does the government ever do anything in a uniform manner?"

I know we all already are experiencing this but yeah.  I smiled when we were talking and she said this.
For everyone, don't lose hope because of the crazy pathways to the NOA-2 or even embassy desk.

My fiance and I have found that checking at midnight Eastern seems to be a good bet. We’re not very superstitious but anything that could possibly shift a fly in a different direction is on our mind haha. I have a gut feeling I’ll hear something by next Thursday…. My goal is by next Tuesday though.

On a separate note, how do we reach a human on uscis contact center?? I battled with the robot for hours on different occasions but only made progress on checking case status and the robot saying “I’m sorry, I cannot help you” and hanging up 😂

If you repeatedly just say 'technical support' no matter what the robot says, it'll eventually put you through to a human. I did this last week and was able to get a live person with only about 15 seconds of hold time; not sure if that's normal or not, as I've only done it once.

20 Cases accepted today, I see around 16 RFEs that were converted back to being in process.  I hope this isn't a sign of things slowing down for September; but we will check back on things on Monday.  Have a good weekend!

I'm just curious - for those that are rejected - I know a lot of them are rejected initially due to things like incorrect fee, wrong edition of the form, etc. If someone corrects their error, do they move from rejected to in process? Or do they get a whole new case number? I'm just not sure whether or not the "rejected" will move or if they're permanent.
