If you have any attachments, make sure each attached page has your name and A-Number (if any). You may also number the pages and include the total amount of pages being attached (for example, “page 1 of 11”).

What exactly counts as an attachment? Any page that is not an USCIS form? For example is the copy of the beneficiary/petitioners birth certificate an attachment? If so, they I think I will be writing my name and A# on literally 100s of pages. I am even thinking of ordering a self-inking stamp. Thought I will ask what you all think before I went ahead and ordered a stamp.

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/04/2023 - Application sent to USCIS Elgin, IL lockbox
  2. 12/07/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Received "Your case received" text message from USCIS. Receiipt # starts with IOE
  4. 12/13/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  5. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the I797 with the receipt number and the online access code
  6. 12/19/2023 - Received in mail the bio-metric re-use notification
  7. 12/21/2023 - Received in mail the I797 NoA extending my green card by 48 months

If it's any reassurance, we did not write my name or A-Number on any of the attachments and all 3 applications (I-485, I-765, I-131) were accepted without issue. They were well organised with a master table of contents and a separate table of contents for each application though. We did write name/A-Number on the back of each photo.
