I counted 7 shots.  And somehow, this guy is still alive, though in critical condition.

In the video, several officers can be seen standing on a sidewalk next to a four-door S.U.V. The man identified as Mr. Blake, wearing a white tank top and black shorts, walks along the passenger side of the vehicle, away from the officers as they yell and as at least one of them points a gun at him.

Mr. Blake walks around the front of the vehicle and opens the driver-side door. Numerous people can be heard yelling, and one officer grabs the man’s shirt. As he opens the door, at least half a dozen shots can be heard while at least two officers can be seen with their guns pointed at him. The video, which is about 20 seconds long, ends shortly after the shooting.

Protesters overnight broke windows and sprayed graffiti at a Kenosha County administrative building and torched vehicles at a nearby auto dealership, according to CNN affiliate WISN. A fire was started at a county courthouse, and officers in tactical gear formed a line to protect a public safety building, the station reported. Kenosha is about 40 minutes south of Milwaukee.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

seems pretty clear. Cops ordering him to stop. With guns pointed at him and officer trying to stop him the suspect reaches in his car.

Justified all day long. Has nothing to do with race, other than possibly  the young man was emboldened to do something stupid because of all the protesting

Only if an officer wants to go home at night. When someone has already tased you, has a gun pointed at you. And you open your door and start reaching under your seat and they order you to drop the knife.

If it takes 70, shoot 70.  If not enough, shoot 71 or more.

shoot until the target is neutralized.

on the other hand, it does seem those officers need to spend some more time at the range.

First thought that ran thru my mind after I found out he lived.

.4 > 9  maff

I am thinking that they had FMJs and not HP or JHP rounds.
