Timeline

My husband and I filed his AOS packet on the 8th of June. On the 11th it was recieved in Chicago, and we got our NOA on the 20th.

What do we do next? How long will we have to wait for our next interview? What about work Authorization? Will he be able to work before the Adjustment of Status application interview?

ahhh!! So many questions! :blush:

June 8th 2007 - AOS packet sent

June 18th 2007 - NOA's recieved

July 18th 2007 - Biometrics Appointment 9am Memphis

September 18th 2007 - 1 year EAD card arrived

Secondly, you should check out the AOS June filers thread...you'd probably get a better idea from that.

11/2004 - Met in Brazil

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil

Yes, sit back, and wait for USCIS to start sending you emails/letters. There really isn't much else you can do.

Of course most of us passed the time by obsessively checking the online status page for updates, but honestly it doesn't actually help! :)
