E3 - After proclamation 10014 - August 2020

Hi, 

 

I have been offered a job in Golf in Arizona. 
I seem to fit the bill for an E3 visa, but with all of the Visa Bans and Consulates not processing certain visas I can’t seem to get definitive answers as to if an E3 can be applied for or will even be processed right now. 
All of the bans don’t seem to mention E3.
My closest US consulate is Sydney CBD.  
 

I haven not done any work on this. Just yet but I am looking to go forward with an immigration lawyer and the firm would like me to start in January if possible. 

Can anyone shed light on a new E3 as of August 24th 2020.

E-3 visas are still being issued. In July 2020: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyNIVIssuances/JULY 2020 - NIV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf

• 27 E-3 visas were issued in Melbourne
• 4 E-3 visas were issued in Perth
• 66 E-3 visas were issued in Sydney
• 10 E-3 visas were issued at US consular posts outside of Australia to Australian citizens

The July data was posted in the last 2 days. I expect them to post August data around September 21.
