I am not one to look a gifted horse in the mouth...but we just received an email from the USCIS stating my husband's card 'has been ordered' regarding our AOS...he went to his biometrics interview...and that was it.

We are still trying to get his EAD.

Aren't we supposed to go to another interview?

Or should I just enjoy the first 'break' we've gotten in the past year and a half???

I don't believe there is anything members have "discovered" as the key to getting a transfer. Lots of speculation has been made, but nothing regarded as fact.

It's just luck!

My husband I-485 was not transfer and we waited more than a year. As you could see on my timeline, my husband was approved without interview.

Now we are on the process of I-751 lifting the condition and I have read that we might get an interview just cause he got the green card without interview. Well let's see what happen.

Leney,

Two circumstances, one certain and one speculative:

- tha application appears to be clearly approvable based on the evidence available, and

- the DO or SO where the interview would take place is severey backlogged.
