Multiple people told you on your original thread that you cannot use the GC to enter. No one told you that you could. But you ignored all of the advice given. How to we know you are not going to ignore the advice given on this thread too?

Yes, that is very true. I have no excuse, but I just thought I had to try. I am certainly not going to ignore advice here. After a couple of months just acted foolishly. That's always been my biggest problem. I also know my husband won't take me back, especially now. I don' have money for a lawyer and I can't earn any without breaking more laws. I know how stupid I sound by doing all this, but hearing good solid advice from others here gives me some options to think about. I appreciate everybody's thoughts. Thank you.

Your options for remaining in the US legally are extremely limited....

I was thinking I could file a 212 A9 and see if I could appeal the I-401. Then at least I could get 180 days here while I wait for an answer.

If you don't do this properly, you could easily find yourself being detained, removed, and banned for life, in my humble opinion....I defer to others for their opinions.

What is a 212 A9?

Maybe you are referring to the inadmissibility under INA 212(a)(9)? But that's not something you can just file for to fix...it's a grounds of inadmissibility. A waiver exists, although 1) you need to figure out the specifics of how you're impacted first (see an attorney!!!) and 2) that waiver needs a qualifying relative (you can't self-waiver), and 3) it would be in conjunction with an AOS application or visa application.

Yes, that's what I was referring to. I didn't realize I needed a 'qualifying relative'. I would guess that has to be someone in the US? The only one I have here is my husband and I don't think he will help me now.

If he is needed in any of my options, I don't think I will get his support any longer and there probably isn't a reason to even try.  It seems at that point I really don't have a choice.

I guess I am just postponing the inevitable.

I'm sure it's not the first time this has happened, but it is the first I've seen it with a clearly accepted I-407/invalid GC. You need professional assistance to determine if there is a path forward or not. Be ready in case there is not...but no harm in verifying.

If your GC was cancelled the POE officer would not have been able to allow you in since the computer would know it's blocked. USCIS acknowledged receiving your i407 but they did it mention your GC is revolved and you have X number of days to leave the country?

There must be a procedure to follow after you file i407.

Find out more about it, don't panic and think clearly.  Go and talk to your husband first and see if he is ready to help, may be he is waiting for you to come back and he has no clue that you're in trouble.

Just try and speak with him first.

Yes, you are right. I am beginning to see that there is no hope with out professional assistance. I've already done enough harm on my own. My husband did sign a document of support. I'm thinking he would have to loan me the money for a lawyer and I would sign an agreement to pay him back.  It's the only thing I can think of since I can't legally work. Do you think my being here illegally now, nullify that support contract?

They sent me a notice, yes. I knew it was revoked, but I thought I would try it anyway. A foolish and potentially costly mistake.

They did just let me in without saying anything about a certain number of days.
