Agency Clarifications

My Thai fiancee and I received our USCIS NOA2 approval in April. Obviously because of COVID it has been sitting at the NVC, waiting for the green light to send to the embassy in Bangkok.

In the meantime I called and was given our NVC Case # and Invoice #. We are very confused over the roles of the different agencies once the NVC forwards the application packet to the embassy.

I did go on CEAC and register the D-160 already, so she has her document for that, and will be sending over a hard copy as well as the Affadavit of Support.

It appears she has to register for several things, ad it is confusing why and what the agencies do.

CEAC?

CGIFEDERAL.SECURE.FORCE.COM

GSS

USTRAVELDOCS

Trying to understand the role of each, and how they intertwine.

Any help would be appreciated.

These are the two steps you will have to follow according to the embassy in Bangkok:

         K Information Packet

• Packet 3 Instructions for K Visas (English Thai)

• Packet 4 Appointment Packet for K Visas (English Thai)

She completed the DS-160, paid the fee via GSS and has tentatively scheduled an interview.

Our issue right now is the US Consulate in Bangkok claims they are processing K1 applications, but our application is still sitting at the NVC in New Hampshire.

NOA2 was approved 4/2/20.

I have an NVC Case  and invoice # thanks to the NVC rep I spoke with giving to to me.

The NVC representative stated that the Embassy has not yet requested they send over the pending applications.

Trying to figure out what I can do to expedite.
