Does Buffalo NY ever offer same-day oath ceremonies?

All bets are probably off given COVID but I would love to hear any experiences of the naturalization interview and oath ceremony in Buffalo.
 

If you did them on different days, how long after your interview did you take the oath?

I was interviewed at the Buffalo, NY field office on 08/27/2020. Officers are pretty professional but stern. At the end of the interview, the office could not make a decision on the application and i am still waiting for a decision and oath ceremony.

Woowww sorry to hear that. You must be anxious to find out. Any reason you think they may be taking longer than expected?

If you don’t mind sharing, how long did the appointment take in total? And is the interview/test done by the same officer and in a private room? Did they go through your supporting documents (bank accounts, taxes) in detail? I’m waiting for tax transcripts to arrive in the mail but if they don’t come in time all I will have are the returns.
