OATH TAKING CEREMONY LETTER NEVER RECEIVED

Hello. I had my naturalization interview on July 24. I passed it. The same day my case status online updated 3 times. first, "WE APPROVED YOUR APPLICATION", second update was "YOU ATTENDED YOUR INTERVIEW" and last update was "WE SCHEDULED YOUR NATURALIZATION CEREMONY". However, i never received the Oath Taking Ceremony letter in the mail and no document was uploaded to my online account. And today (Aug. 21) i got an update on my online account saying i missed my naturalization ceremony. I doubt they really sent a letter for my oath taking ceremony. Has this ever happened to anyone? What is the next step will be? Im concerned i'll missed my rescheduled oath taking ceremony again and ill have to restart the process all over again.

USCIS:

09/23/2013 - NOA1 via email/text

09/26/2013 - NOA1 hard copy

11/28/2013 - Petition transferred to CSC

12/04/2013 - NOA2 Approval Notice Via Email

Not me, but a good friend of mine had the same situation last year.  When her status changed to “you missed your naturalization ceremony”, she got on the phone with USCIS immediately and demanded to speak with Tier 2.  When all they did was pointing her to their website (and their Emma-tool), she reached out to her Congressman and got her oath ceremony scheduled roughly a month after the status change to “you missed...”.  

 

I’d say reach out to USCIS immediately, and if they claim that they cannot do anything for you, reach out to your representative.  Good luck, and I hope you can get your oath ceremony scheduled soon!

i never received my oath ceremony letter physically because of the USCIS mess up but was able to download online. It certainly strange that it didn`t show up online. Definitely call their number asap. Also do not let them tell you it is your fault, be prepared to take this matter to your congressman or representative if need to.
