Hi guys, want to start a thread for people who filed in Los Angeles County to remove conditions on green card.

We filed remove conditions in Jan 2019. Bio has been done in Feb 2019. Status change to ready to schedule interviews in Apr 2019. Got I 797 letter extend 18 Month.

In Apr 2020, received letter to require more evidence. In May 2020, mailed in package to Los Angeles Field office, have proof of delivery from post office that USCIS employee signed package receipt.

Since then, the status of case never change and still say “ we sent letter to you to request initial evidence”.

Contact USCIS via online inquiry form and phone calls. Not really help to get a clear answers.

Now the LA field office closed and I guess this will be the major impact to our LA filer.

Feel free to share your experience and case processing and we can help each other with information exchange.

Thanks
