Hi everyone. My fiancé and I are applying for a K-1 visa. My fiancé is from Panama. Like everyone we are stuck at the national visa center. Since we are stuck, my fiancé had to renew her passport. When she renewed her passport, her passport number changed. I don’t remember if we even had to provide her passport information on our I-129f petition. Is this going to create a problem for us somewhere along the line now??? Just kind of worried that this is going to delay things even more for us.

Did you already fill out the DS-160? You have to provide the passport number, date of issuance and expiration. If you haven't filled it out yet, you are fine.

However, if you have already filled it out, you will need to submit a new one.

Or bring the new passport to the interview and inform the CO and they will make the changes to the DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. Easy Peasy.
