Hang in there he will be back in no time.

You'll be OK. I would say why don't you start a game together or something doing one thing a day. Find a joke a day to tell each other or start a chess game. I find having a calendar and getting a big fat marker to cross them off is good for me. Feels satisfying to see them count down. Look at it that the number of days is ony going to get smaller not increase. :o)

Or if he is quite busy on his trip why don't you get a little project to do. I myself am sewing curtains for our house when I get to be back with Dan (13 months apart and it has been complete and utter hell!)

Perhaps there's something you could make for him on his return? Write a story for him or poetry. Sew something, redecorate a room, do something in the garden? Lol or maybe you could get that book that gwen666 recommended in the strip club post and learn how to striptease for when he gets back!

Why don't you plan something extra special for the evening when he comes back. Get stuff to decorate your house, try out some new recipes before hand and cook him something different. Go shopping for new lingerie and high heels. Turn the house into a romantic haven! You could have loads of fun doing that!

I think the trick really is to keep yourself busy. If you can't find something you'd like to do for him perhaps there's something you'd like to do for you. A new hobby. Why don't you relish a little just you time. Lol you can slob out and not have to look pretty all the time. Lol eat all the food you want. Watch every girlie movie in sight and not get moaned at that they're gushy. :o)

It's not going to be forever. It will be gone in the blink of an eye. You'll be OK.

Everyone here will be happy to distract you from your thought with a million messages of "what will be in packet 3?" or "can I do this and this and this on this?"

I'm sure you're a tough cookie and hey if you don't wanna be tough and wanna cry go ahead. No one is gonna think any less of you.

Chin up chook!

*hugs* he'll be back before you know it.

Maybe those of us "recent" couples feel so badly when apart from our husbands/wives BECAUSE most of us had to wait so long to be together. I know that I miss my hubby during the day when I'm at work and so is he. I went to bingo last night with some friends and when I got home I was all "I missed you so much". Pathetic I know :P

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

This is gonna sound strange, but try to enjoy the time without him. When Dave and I are apart, we each try to pass the time doing things that we wouldn't normally do....I pass a great deal of time working on projects that I would never usually get the time for. Spending more time with friends, going through old photos, crafts, work, etc......and there's nothing wrong with a good ol natter either :P

Dave used to go to the pub quiz (which I freaking hate), got a part time job at night to pass the time, redecorated, and even built a mame cabinet for our house.

If ya need to pass some time, give me a holla.....
