When everything on your fiancee's end is completed (medical, DS-160, etc), the consulate will contact you for an interview.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. You have to have done your medical before they will schedule you? Doesn't the medical expire very quickly?

You don't have to do medical before you schedule your interview.

You need to complete DS160 online  before you schedule your interview.

Ok, thanks. That's what I thought. That post had me wondering if we had made a mistake holding off on getting the passport photos, police report and medical done. The DS-160 has been completed for quite some time.

Depends entirely on the consulate.  In some places, the medical cannot be scheduled without an interview date on the books.

 

Anyway, it greatly simplifies things to have it all done before the interview.  Pending medical results at interview require a visa refusal and add time.
